Rhizone®
Natural Growth Promoter

PRODUCT INFORMATION :
RHIZONE is a natural organic product. It contains precursors of plant growth stimulating factors which upon introducing to natural soils will be gradually converted to growth stimulating RHIZONE factors by microorganism in the rhizosphere.

Many soil microorganisms are able to produce plant growth regulators in the presence of suitable physiological precursors. Among these microorganisms are Pisolithus Azotobacter, Pseudomonas and Azospirillum. The microbial biosynthesis of plant growth regulators in soil can be stimulated by supply specific physiological precursors. Some of the plant growth regulator precursors are:

Adenine
-
Cytokimin precursor
Tryptophan
-
Auxin precursor (IAA)
Methionine
-
Ethylene prescursor

The rhizosphere contains a high population of microorganisms which can convert the precursors to plant growth regulators. These produced plant growth regulators can then be taken up by plant roots directly.

The functions of the plant growth regulators such produced are:

Auxins: Indoleacetic acid (IAA) is a well known auxin. The effects of auxius in plant growth are:
  a) Stimulating all elongations
  b) Stimulating root initiation
  c) Increasing fruit size

Cytokimin: Cytokimins are known to stimulate plant growth. The stimulating effects of cytokimins include:

  a) Release apical dominance
  b) Break bud, seed and embryo dormancy
  c) Increase root formation
  d) Promote plant growth
  e) Increase crop yield

Ethylene: Ethylene will cause fruit ripening. It can also promote plant growth and flower initiation.

Rhizone contains selected plant growth regulator precursors. When applied to the soil, the soil microorganism will convert the precursors contained in Rhizone into plant growth regulators and hence stimulate seed germination, plant growth, and yield.
