Biological Plant Growth Promoter
|
|||
PROMOT PLUS is a
natural plant growth promoter produced by the fermentation of selected
microorganisms, Trichoderma spp. it contains living microorganisms, enzyme
complexes, and nutrients which are beneficial to
plant growth. |
|||
PROMOT PLUS has the capacity
as a microbial seed treatment
to allow the microorganisms in the product to multiply in the soil.
As these microorganisms multiply in the soil, they produce growth
factors which will stimulate seed germination, plant growth, and flowering.
The growth factors produced by the microorganisms will also increase
the vigor and health of the plants.
As a result, plants are more resistant to diseases caused by pathogenic
fungi such as Rhizoctonia solani, Pythium spp., Sclerotia rolfsii etc.
These pathogenic fungi cause seed rot, root rot, stem rot, and fruit
rot. Research indicated that
plants treated with PROMOT PLUS were more resistant to damping off. |
|||
PROMOT PLUS can be used
to coat the seeds, or be applied
directly to the seeds at planting.
PROMOT PLUS
can be mixed with most fertilizers, but the mixtures should not
be stored for a prolonged time. The
microorganisms in PROMOT PLUS are in the form of spores which are protected from adverse environments
and will germinate as soon as
the environment becomes favorable. |
|||
PROMOT PLUS can also be
mixed with potting soil to grow seedlings in the greenhouse. Using PROMOT PLUS in the potting soil not only protects seedlings in the greenhouse, but
also has a carry over effect in the field when seedlings are transplanted. The microorganisms in PROMOT
PLUS remain in the soil and are transplanted to the field together with the
seedlings. The microorganisms
then continue to multiply in the fields and the plants continue to benefit
from them. This results in
better survival rates, better plant growth, and better disease resistance
after transplanting. |
