MixWell is a multipurpose, multifunction product designed for soil and water application, where the pH needs to be lowered into a more acidic range. It is an organic based material that is natural and environmentally friendly. MixWell is ideal for conditioning alkaline soils and water.

Activator - Many pesticides need to be applied with slightly acidic water. Many pesticides begin to hydrolyze and loose there efficacy under alkaline conditions. MixWell ä can help prevent hydrolysis and keep the pH in an ideal range for pesticide application and efficacy.

Buffering Agent - MixWell is an acidic material. Adding MixWell to the spray tank or irrigation water will lower alkaline pH into a more desirable acidic range. By applying MixWell with a routine soil or turf program, calcareous soils can be lowered to a more desirable, acidic range.

Compatibility Agent - Calcium, iron, zinc and other nutrients often form precipitates with phosphorus under alkaline conditions. These precipitates collect in the bottom of mixing and spray tanks and can eventually clog lines and nozzles. MixWell can lower the pH of the mixing water and prevent these precipitates from forming. By adding MixWell to the spray tank, multiple products can be mixed and applied at once, saving time and money. (Note: Always conduct a jar test with new mixes prior to combining them in a tank.)

MixWell can dissolve these solids and get them back into solution for easy clean-up.

MixWell also makes an excellent equipment cleaner for routine maintenance of irrigation and spray lines.

MixWell is allowed in organic production as a drip line cleaner, equipment cleaner and for pH adjustment

MixWell is acidic. pH reducers must first be diluted with water prior to mixing with other nutrients. MixWell should not be added in concentrate to highly alkaline products. Hard or alkaline water will leave residues and mineral build up on tanks, lines and irrigation heads.

SOIL CONDITIONER

Turf Application: Calcareous soils have very high pH that make Turf grass maintenance difficult. This also tends to tie up many micronutrients. Apply MixWell at a rate of 3 to 6 fl. oz. per 1000 ft² in at least 10 gallons of water on a monthly basis to obtain idea range of 6-6.5 pH.

TREES AND ORNAMENTALS: Many plants prefer acid pH of range 6-6.5 by applying MixWell as a root injection or soil drench, soil can be lowered slowly. Apply 5 to 10 fl. oz. per 100 gallons of water. Repeat application as necessary.

WATER CONDITIONER

TANK MIX BUFFER SOLUTION: Many fungicides, herbicides and insecticides require an acidic tank mix solution to ensure the best efficacy. Be sure to slowly add MixWell to a tank mix and check with a pH meter until the desired pH is reached, then add pesticides. Add MixWell before adding pesticides. Add 1-4 qts. of MixWell per 100 gallons of water. Refer to pesticide labels for correct pH range. If the solution in the tank is not used the same day, be sure to check the pH again and adjust if necessary.

EQUIPMENT AND TANK CLEANING: Calcium, iron and other nutrients often form precipitates with phosphorus in mixing tanks. MixWell can dissolve these precipitates and place them back in solution. Add 1-2 gallons of MixWell per 100 gallons of water and agitate until solids are dissolved.

TANK AND LINE MAINTENANCE: Flush tanks and lines with a solution of 1 gallon of MixWell per 100 gallons of water and then flush with clean water to rinse. Repeat once a month or as needed.
