Field & Research Agronomist

Seeking a qualified person to fill a position for technical and sales support role in our growing plant products team. Our company is research driven and a world leader in safer and organic products. Qualified applicants shall have at least a BS in Plant Science, Soil Science or related field. MS degree preferred. Applicant should have a California Pest Control Advisor’s License or the ability to obtain one within one year. Applicant must have a broad understanding of the agricultural industry and a working knowledge of fertilizers and pesticides (prior technical experience in these areas is a must). Position is based out of Ventura, California.

Job duties will include but not limited to:

-Conducting field & greenhouse research

-Technical support for sales and marketing teams

-Product development and improvement

-Developing programs for individual crops

Applicant will spend a good majority of their time working directly with growers and PCAs to design and implement trials. Knowledge of statistics is desirable. Traveling will be required on a regular basis. Attendance at trade shows, seminars and various meeting will be required. This position will serve a pivotal role in developing and understanding the use of our products then translating that information to the sales team.

Driver / Warehouse/Production

POSITION: We are seeking a motivated, responsible person to assist in production and operations of our warehouse and production facility in Ventura , CA . The employee will help with the production, packaging and shipping of finished product, along with general maintenance and cleaning. This position also requires occasional driving duties to Los Angeles . This is a full time position 8-5 m-f, however due to the necessity of the driving responsibilities the required hours need to be flexible.

QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants should have a minimum of ten years driving experience, non commercial, and preferably have some production, shipping /receiving experience. Be fluent in English and some Spanish is a plus. Able to work some weekends and overtime when needed.

Assistant Warehouse/Production Manager

Bakersfield, CA

POSITION: We are seeking a motivated, responsible person to assist our Production Manger in the day to day operations of our warehouse and production facility in Bakersfield, CA. The Assistant Manager will oversee the production personnel and help coordinate the production, packaging and shipping of finished product. The Assistant will be responsible for the facility in the absence of the Production Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants should have a minimum of five years experience in a warehouse/production setting. Be fluent in both english and spanish. Able to work some weekends and overtime when needed.
